This family came to Frontline looking to expand their 1940’s kitchen and give it an updated look. This kitchen was taken right down to the studs. In order to create the extra space the customer was looking for, an exterior wall was removed to make room for expansion into the back open porch. The open porch was then enclosed and cedar shake siding was installed. Matching windows and a door were also installed to create a seamless look from the exterior view of the home. The kitchen features tile flooring, Java shaker style cabinets, granite countertop and under cabinet LED lighting. The recessed lighting was also updated and a modern sink light was installed. The expansion of the kitchen made it possible to add much needed kitchen seating and a lounge area for their family to enjoy together.
