The heart of the home is the kitchen. Since it is one of the most utilized rooms in a home, it needs to be functional. Prior to the work being done at the Simone Project, this kitchen only had one drawer and was not user friendly. By removing a wall the traffic into the kitchen became smoother. We also removed soffits to help utilize the 9-foot ceilings. This enabled the customer to install 42-inch upper cabinetry for a great increase in storage space. More storage space was created through relocating and enlarging the pantry. Granite countertops, under-cabinet LED lighting and a tile backsplash give the kitchen a final extra sparkle, enhancing an already beautiful space.
